The Five Musketeers
Cheerleaders are a new addition at Mead High
School this year. The two previous years Mead did
not have cheerleaders because of the lack of inter-
est. The cheerleaders worked extra hard to gain
the respect of the school and community. Their
practices started on june 1, and they met three
days a week. During the school year, they met
three days a week after school and had some
morning practices. They performed four half-time
shows and cheered for the varsity games. They
were in charge of posters, pep-rallies, dance rou-
