ATHLETICS
Kay was a 4-year varsity letter winner and 2 year varsity starter on Midland Lutheran College Women's basketball teams that
compiled a 100-17 record, 4 Nationally Ranked Teams, 4 NIAC Conference Champions, 4 NAIA District Champions. The 1983-
84 team, with a record of 25-3, is still the school's single season highest win percentage. Kay played point guard, her college
coach said she was an aggressive player who always was given the most challenging defensive assignment. She was an
unselfish player with exception court vision.

HOME Kay was selected to play in the inaugural Coca Cola All Star Game in Omaha. She was one of only 3 Class D players
selected play in this prestigious post-season event.
